Ryan Scialabba’s sacrifice fly scored Eli Battapaglia with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning for the top-seeded Cheshire baseball team, which rallied to defeat No. 32 Farmington 6-5 Wednesday in a Class LL first-round home game.
Battapaglia tied the game with an RBI triple for the Rams. Jack Calcavecchia went 3-for 3 with an RBI for Farmington.

Ally Stein had an RBI single and made a diving catch to end the game, stranding the tying run on base, for Law (17-7).
Carlee Kirla hit a solo homer for Valley Regional.
