Morgan Bagnall, Lauralton Hall
Bagnall won the 200-yard freestyle (1:52.88) and the 500 freestyle (4:58.41) in the SCC virtual championships. She helped key the team to a second-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay.
Julia Barto, Cheshire
Barto, a freshman, was SCC’s 200-yard individual medley winner (2:08.09) and finished second in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.51). She anchored the Rams’ winning 200 medley relay (1:50.00) and led off the SCC champion 200 freestyle relay (1:39.61).
Mary Barto, Cheshire
The senior placed second in the 100 butterfly (58.69) at the SCC virtual championship meet.
Maddie Bergin, North Haven
Bergin produced impressive performances at the SCC virtual championship meet, placing second in both the 50-yard freestyle (24.05) and 100 freestyle (52.04).
Annie Bingle, Greenwich
Bingle completed her junior season by diving to victory at the FCIAC West Championships held at Westhill High School, amassing 461.25 points.
Hannah Chuckas, Westhill
Chuckas, a sophomore, turned in a standout performance on the 1-meter diving board at the FCIAC West competition, placing second with 422.10 points over 11 dives.
Brianna Deierlein, Newtown
The freshman recorded a first-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (SWC Championships, 53.80).
Natalie DeMatteo, Cheshire
A senior, DeMatteo won the SCC diving title with 392.75 points over 11 rounds.
Kali Dominguez, Hall
Dominguez had first-place finishes in the 50 freestyle (25.34) and 100 butterfly (58.95) for Hall in its CCC regional postseason meet vs. Conard. She also helped key the team’s winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams.
Natalia Ferranto, Darien
Ferranto, a sophomore, placed first in the 50-yard freestyle at the FCIAC West Championships held at Greenwich High School, then helped Darien finish first in the 200 freestyle relay, a race it won in 1:39.91.
Payton Foster, Greenwich
Foster completed her impressive freshman season with second-place finishes in the 200 freestyle (1:51.13) and 500-yard freestyle (4:58.26) at the FCIAC West finals. She anchored the Cardinals’ championship 400 freestyle relay, which posted an FCIAC record time of 3:30.89.
Vivian Freitas, Lauralton Hall
Freitas, a senior, posted the winning SCC time in the 100-yard backstroke, touching the wall in 58.13 seconds.
Isabella Gary, Weston
Gary, a senior, gave Weston two first-place finishes, winning the 200-yard individual medley (2:09.18) and the 100 breaststroke (1:05.04) at the SWC virtual championships.
Rylie Giles, Ridgefield
Giles posted a time of 1:53.81 in the 200-yard freestyle at the FCIAC Central Championships, then clocked in at 5:02.74 in the 500 freestyle.
Maddie Haley, New Canaan
A senior, Haley won the FCIAC West title in the 200-yard individual medley, clocking in at 2:08.42. She also took top honors in the 100-yard backstroke (56.40). Haley was part of New Canaan’s 400 freestyle relay squad which placed third in 3:43.84 and raced in the 200 medley relay event, which saw the Rams finish second (1:51.97).
Norah Hampford, Trumbull
The junior took first in the 100 backstroke at the FCIAC East meet with a time of 1:03.02.
Caroline Krawec, Lyman Hall
Krawec finished third in the SCC in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.71).
Caterina Li, Greenwich
At the FCIAC West Region meet, Li posted two first-place individual finishes, winning the 100-yard butterfly (58.06 seconds) and the 100 breaststroke (1:06.79). She helped guide the Cardinals to winning efforts in the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.
Victoria Liu, Greenwich
Liu, a junior, had a second-place finish in the 200 individual medley (2:10.87) at the FCIAC West Region Championships and was third in the 500-yard freestyle (5:13.24). She also helped the Cardinals’ 400-yard freestyle relay combine for a winning time of 3:30.89 (FCIAC record time).
Kendall Luecke, Darien
The senior capped her Darien career in style, winning the 100-yard freestyle at the FCIAC West Championships with a time of 54.00 seconds. Luecke also anchored Darien’s championship 200 freestyle relay (1:39.91) and the 400 freestyle relay, which placed second.
Meghan Lynch, Greenwich
At the FCIAC West Region Championships, Lynch won the 500-yard freestyle in an All-America, state record and FCIAC record time of 4:46.79. She also broke her own school record in the event. In the 200-yard freestyle, she achieved a state mark in 1:47.93. She also established an FCIAC and school record in the race. The senior was part of 400 freestyle relay that won the race in an FCIAC record/All-America consideration time of 3:30.09. Her split of 50.55 seconds in the race set an FCIAC record in the 100 freestyle. Lynch also helped ignite the Cardinals’ 200 medley relay to victory.
Grace Mahon, Amity
A sophomore, Mahon placed third in the 100 butterfly at the SCC competition (58.96).
Sophie Murphy, Cheshire
Murphy ended her Cheshire career by winning the SCC title in both the 50-yard freestyle (23.68) and 100 freestyle (:51.44). She was the anchor of the 200 freestyle relay race, which saw the Rams post the top time (1:39.61) and swam the lead-off leg of the champion 400 freestyle relay (3:34.26).
Kate Murray, Fairfield Warde
Murray swam to a first-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (:25.10) in the FCIAC East Region meet.
Bridget Negron, Fairfield Warde
Negron finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.36) at the FCIAC East Championships.
Emma Nordquist, Hall
Nordquist, a senior, placed first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.43) and 500 freestyle (5:20.73) for Hall in its postseason meet against Conard. She also competed on the 400 freestyle relay, which posted a time of 3:56.04 and anchored the 200 freestyle relay (1:44.70).
Katherine O’Connor, Amity
O’Connor was third in the 50-yard freestyle in the SCC competition (24.05), then the junior took fourth in the 100 butterfly (59.57).
Emma Panaroni, Hamden
Panaroni, a senior, finished third in the 100-yard freestyle (53.79) and second in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.36) at the SCC championships.
Alexa Pappas, Weston
At the SWC virtual championships, Pappas, a senior, topped the competition in the 100 butterfly (55.82) and the 100 backstroke (55.85). She anchored the team’s winning 200 medley relay.
Kristen Racicot, Trumbull
A freshman, Racicot finished first in the 200-yard individual medley (2:18.34) and was FCIAC East champion in the 100 butterfly (1:03.40).
Riley Riebling, Ridgefield
The junior posted a time of 1:00.39 in the 100 backstroke and swam a 1:00.08 in the butterfly at the FCIAC East meet.
Norah Rome, East Haven/Wilbur Cross
A sophomore, Rome had a third-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle at the SCC meet (1:55.57) and was the runner-up in the 500 freestyle (5:05.58).
Hannah Seward, Ridgefield
Seward, a senior, registered a time of 55.98 seconds in the 100-yard butterfly and notched a time of 54.45 in the 100 freestyle at the FCIAC Central meet.
Daniele Tanaka Sales, St. Joseph
Tanaka Sales was the FCIAC East’s 100-yard freestyle winner (55.69). The sophomore also finished second in the 100 breaststroke (1:09.66).
Meghan Tiernan, Hall
Against Conard in a CCC postseason meet, Tiernan finished first in the 200 IM (2:09.70) and had the top time in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.74).
Julianna Tyler, Cheshire
Tyler had the best time in the SCC virtual meet in the 100-yard butterfly (58.34), then the sophomore placed second in the 200 individual medley (2:10.64).
Lauren Walsh, Trumbull
Walsh set a school record in winning the 500-yard freestyle race with a time of 4:58.13 at the FCIAC East Championships. The junior also finished first in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.12) and was on the Eagles’ winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.
