Player of the Year
Stats: Batted .581 with 43 hits, 13 doubles, six home runs, 37 runs, 29 RBIs, 10 stolen bases and 14 walks. He produced a 1.679 on-base plus slugging percentage and struck out just three times. Set the school single season records for highest batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, OPS and hits. Holds school career records for home runs (15), doubles (31) and extra-base hits (50).
Honors: Two-time Register All-State pick, CHSC Player of the Year and Gatorade State Player of the Year.

Coach of the Year
Stats: Led the Spartans to their fourth straight Class LL state championship and the No. 1 spot in the final Register/GameTimeCT Top 10 poll, a spot the team occupied all season long. Won sixth Class LL title and SCC championship overall. Team set a SCC record with 17 runs in the tournament final against Notre Dame-West Haven.
Honors: Previous Area and State Coach of the Year in 2005, 2006 and 2013. National Coach of the Year finalist.
Off the field: Teaches at Wolcott High School.
Hamden, Sr., P/1B
Stats: Went 7-1, struck out 80 batters and allowed just 14 hits all season. Had a 0.15 ERA and 0.652 WHIP while holding opponents to a .090 batting average. Set the school records for ERA, WHIP, hits allowed and strikeouts for a single season. Threw a no-hitter on April 14 vs. Guilford.
Honors: CHSCA First Team All-State, Southern Connecticut Conference Player of the Year.

Bristol Eastern, Sr., P
Stats: Went a school record 9-0 for the Lancers. In 73 1/3 innings, allowed seven earned runs and struck out 84 while walking eight. Had a 0.70 ERA and six complete games. Holds the school career records for wins (22) and ERA (1.19). Did not lose a game over final two seasons and has a career 22-3 record.
Honors: All-CCC, CHSCA Class L All-State, 2016 Senior Select All Star Team, 2016 All-City Team (Bristol).
Off the field: Honor roll student.

Morgan Sr., C
Stats: Had a .377 batting average and .526 on-base percentage for the Class S finalist Huskies. Had 37 hits, 17 walks and 19 RBIs while striking out just four times. Finished career with 94 hits.
Honors: Two-time All-Shoreline Conference selection, 2016 CHSCA First Team All-State selection.
Off the field: Honor roll student, 1,000 point scorer for basketball team, volunteer for Clinton baseball club.
Up next: Will play baseball at Salve Regina.
Sheehan, Sr., SS
Stats: Hit .384 for the Titans in 2016. Scored 24 runs and stole 11 bases.
Honors: Two-time All-Area pick. Coaches all-state and All-SCC Housatonic selection, Team MVP.
Off the field: Varsity scholar, Coaches All-Academic team selection.
Up next: Will play baseball at Tulane.
Masuk, Sr., P
Stats: Went 5-1 with a 1.46 ERA for the Panthers. Had 60 strikeouts in 48 1/3 innings with a 0.665 WHIP. 16-3 career record with 9.3 strikeouts per seven innings.
Honors: Two-time coaches all-state and first team All-SWC pick, CT Junior and Senior All Star Games selection, chosen for MLB sponsored BOS-NYY Rivalry Classic in Pawtucket in 2015.
Off the field: CHSCA All-Academic Team, Masuk Scholar Athlete Award winner, 2016 Masuk Education Association Scholarship winner

Fairfield Warde, Sr., P/1B
Stats: Went 8-1, including starting the Class LL state championship game, for the Mustangs. In 59 innings struck out 84 and allowed 15 earned runs on 24 hits for a 1.85 ERA. Had a .335 batting average and .415 on-base percentage with six doubles and two home runs. Drove in 28 runs and stole nine bases.
Honors: Two-time All-FCIAC and coaches all-state selection. Co-FCIAC Player of the Year.

Watertown, Sr., P
Stats: Batted .527, a career-high, with 39 hits, 32 RBIs and five home runs. On the mound, had a 1.05 ERA with 93 strikeouts and just eight earned runs allowed in 56 innings.
Honors: All-NVL and coaches all-state selection.
Up next: Will play baseball at St. John’s.
Amity, Sr., P/OF
Stats: Went 9-0 with three saves and allowed four earned runs in 69 innings to post a 0.40 ERA. Struck out 83 batters. Also had six doubles and 16 RBIs. Was the winning pitcher in the Class LL state championship game to cap his postseason career with an 8-0 record and a save.
Honors: All-SCC, CT Senior All Star Team and coaches all-state selection, New Haven Register All-Area MVP.
Off the field: Relay for Life, Milford Hospital Volunteer, Midnight Run, Orange Fireman’s Carnival Volunteer.

Notre Dame-WH, Sr., OF/P
Stats: Had a .468 batting average for the Class L state champions. Had 37 hits, 20 RBIs, 23 runs and 18 walks for a .560 on-base percentage. Struck out just twice in 100 plate appearances and stole 21 bases. On the mound, compiled a 6-2 record with a 2.71 ERA.
Honors: Two-time All-SCC and coaches all-state selection.
Off the field: Spanish Honor Society, Peer counselor, member of basketball team.

Amity, Sr., SS/P
Stats: Hit .375 for the Class LL state champions. Had three home runs, 25 RBIs and 26 runs with a .462 on-base percentage. Had a 2-0 pitching record with a 1.27 ERA.
Honors: All-SCC Housatonic and coaches all-state selection,
Off the field: National Honor Society, SCC Scholar Leader Award, Amity High School Scholar Athlete Award, CHSCA Academic All-State.

East Lyme, Sr., P/2B
Stats: Had a .368 average, collecting 34 hits, seven doubles, four triples and four home runs. Scored 36 runs, drove in 16 and had 13 walks and four hit by pitches for a .486 on-base percentage.
Honors: First Team All-Eastern Connecticut Conference and coaches all-state selection. ECC Umpire Sportsmanship Award recipient.
Off the field: Rotary Student of the Month, East Lyme Little League volunteer, Student Senate member, cross country and track team member.
