Monica Swartley
Northwestern Jr. Pitcher
Stats: Went 6-2 with an ERA of 2.02 and 94 strikeouts. At the plate she hit .422 with 23 RBI and helped lead Northwestern to the Berkshire League title.
Honors: All-Berkshire League.

Stats: Hit four home runs and had 18 RBI.
Honors: All-Copper Team.

Abby Hurlbert
Thomaston Sr. Shortstop
Stats: Batted .471 with 41 hits, 31 RBI and 16 stolen bases, she also didn’t strike out once this season. She also helped lead the Golden Bears to their first softball state title in school history.
Honors: All-State, two-time All-Berkshire League, Raymond Marinko Memorial Award, all-area MVP for both field hockey and girls’ basketball.
College: She will play softball at Southern Connecticut State University.

Stats: Batted .458, with 22 hits, five doubles, two triples, four home runs, 14 RBI and she scored 18 runs.
Honors: Two-Time All-State, two-time All-Berkshire League.

Stats: Went 12-7 with a 3.16 ERA and 143 strikeouts. At the plate, hit .400 with 26 hits and 19 RBI.
Honors: All-Berkshire League, two-time All-Berkshire League second team.

Morgan Sanson
Thomaston Soph. Pitcher
Stats: Went 9-2 during the regular season with 145 strikeouts and won four games in the state tournament to lead the Golden Bears to their first softball state title in school history. At the plate she hit .471 with 32 hits, three home runs, 24 RBI and scored 31 runs. In the state tournament semifinals, she hit the game-tying home run with two outs and down 0-2 in the count and then hit the game-winning base hit to send Thomaston to the state finals.
