2014 Litchfield County All-Area Girls Tennis

Thomaston Sr.

Stats: Won the Berkshire League championship, the first in school history, went 13-3 during the regular season and 15-4 overall, helped lead Thomaston to its best season in school history, where they reached the Class S semifinals and won Berkshire League team championship. She also won her first match in the State Open.
Honors: Two-time Berkshire League All-Star, coach’s award.
College: She will play at Merrimack College

Sabrina Cofer
Litchfield, Jr.

Stats: Went 14-2 this season, finishing in second place in the Berkshire League and won her first match in the State Open.
Honors: Two-time Berkshire League All-Star
Off the court: National Honor Society and Honor Roll.

Caroline Kelly
Shepaug, Soph.

Stats: Reached the Berkshire League Tournament semifinals and finished with a record of 10-6 this season.
Honors: Berkshire League All-Star

Megan Fitzgerald
Thomaston, Sr.

Stats: Finished the regular season undefeated at 16-0 and 19-0 after helping lead Thomaston to their best season in school history as they reached the Class S semifinals, they also won the Berkshire League title for the first time in school history and she reached the quarterfinals in the Berkshire League Tournament.
Honors: Coach’s award
Off the court: CAPT Scholar, Honor Roll
College: She will play at Elmira College

Reilly Ratcliffe
Nonnewaug, Sr.

Stats: Reached the semifinals in the Berkshire League Tournament and reached the second round in the State Open.
Honors: Two-time Berkshire League All-Star.

Thomaston, Sr.

Stats: Finished the regular season 16-0 and 17-2 overall in doubles with partner Jessenia Gonzalez, they would come in second place in the Berkshire League tournament and reach the third round at the State Open. She helped lead Thomaston to their first Berkshire League title in school history and to the Class S semifinals.
Honors: Two-time Berkshire League All-Star.
Off the court: CAPT Scholar and Honor Roll.
College: Bryant University

Elena Kennedy
Litchfield, Soph.

Stats: Won the Berkshire League tournament in doubles with partner Margaret Hill and finished with a 12-2 record this season.
Honors: Berkshire League All-Star.

Lauren Tourtellotte
Litchfield, Sr.

Stats: Finished the season 13-2 overall and reached the quarterfinals in the Berkshire League tournament.
Honors: Was a Berkshire League All-Star in 2012 as a sophomore in doubles.
College: Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

Jessenia Gonzalez
Thomaston, Sr.

Stats: Finished the regular season 16-0 and 17-2 overall in doubles with partner Rhianon Mecca, they would come in second place in the Berkshire League tournament and reach the third round at the State Open.
