Talia Loda tossed her second no-hitter of the season to lead the East Haven softball team to a 7-0 Southern Connecticut Conference Oronoque Division victory over Branford on Tuesday.

Loda struck out seven, walked two and did not allow a ball to be hit out of the infield. Jenna Gaudioso was 3 for 4 with an RBI and Laura Anderson had two hits and two RBIs for East Haven (8-4, 3-1). Branford falls to 4-7, 2-2.

Platt Tech 15, Whitney Tech 0 (5) >> Brooke Pawlak pitched a perfect game with 12 strikeouts for Platt Tech (13-0) in a Constitution State Conference win at Milford.

Law 10, Hand 0 >> Madison Murphy had a three-run homer in a six-run first inning for Law in a SCC Hammonasset Division win at Milford.

Danielle Gray was 4 of 4 with three RBIs and two runs while Justine Bannon and Stephanie Cameron had two hits each for the Eagles (10-3, 5-1). Ormdahl had one of five hits for the Tigers (9-4, 3-2).

Lauralton Hall 13, Bunnell 0 >> Lindsay Spitz was 4 for 4 with two homers and three RBIs and Jackie Brewster had two hits with a homer and four RBIs for Lauralton Hall in a South-West Conference win at Stratford.

Alexa Dawid had two hits and two stolen bases, Maureen Connolly had two hits and a stolen base and Ireland Miessau struck out eight for the Crusaders. Lora Walsh had the only hit for Bunnell.

    Who sent in the stats for the East Haven – Branford game? East Haven did not get 11 hits during the game. The first two base runners in the first inning were the result of errors. That was two of 5. Some one is padding some stats!!!!!
