Hmmm, Greenwich and Darien would appear to be the best teams based on returning talent. Ridge field must be good. Now we know prep is for real this year. I suppose it should not come as a surprise for a program that has been to the finals last 8 years and won 6. But honestly it is a bit of surprise. They were crap vs Darien pre season. And I think Darien is the team. Prep Could be a team that jells as the season progresses, however. Early days.

Prep is a good team – Darien looked better than good when they played Manhassett, Niskayuna, and pre-season Prep. That said, Prep did a great job at the X and in the ground ball category by just out hustling Greenwich as they did in all essential facets of the game. The play of the Prep goalie was terrific as he shut down many shots that may have gone in if GHS was playing another team – the Prep Defense locked off on Curren and Foote and by taking those two out of the mix Prep became a better team.
All in all, Greenwich was outplayed that day but on another day it very easily could go the other way.

as an FYI – Ridgefield is the real deal this year – the “L” class will have an interesting post season! Laxworm.com for the #ctlax Laxworm15

I did not see many long poles on Curran during the FP game. The move of Curran from attack to midfield as resulted in him having a favorable match-up. The FP vs Greenwich game was a good game. Teams are about the same.
