Southern Connecticut Conference

The Southern Connecticut Conference ranks as the second largest in Connecticut in terms of membership with 22 schools covering a large swath of the southern part of the state and shoreline. Commissioner Al Carbone directs the organization which has existed since 1994. SCC schools won a conference-record 25 state championships in the 2011-12 academic year.

Football: McCormick accepts head coach position at Hyde

Brandon McCormick has accepted the head coach position at Hyde, he confirmed Wednesday. The position still needs to be approved by the Board of Education.
