  1. Just Sayin says

The hockey top ten has teams with losing records and I completely understand why,
so why is it that we can’t understand this in the football polls, In football Undefeated
teams that don’t belong are regularly voted into the top ten. The hockey top ten voters
seem to understand the difference in strength of schedule and Division I vs. Division II.

  2. DT16 says

Let’s be honest, West Haven and Xavier have no business being ranked but high school hockey is so weak in CT this year that someone needs to be included to ensure the Top 10 is complete.

  3. says

D1 teams with losing records and I’m not a hockey guy but a West Haven team this year(5-6-1)if it played against a top ranked D3 team lets say was 18-0 and all wins were against fellow D3 world beaters correct me if I’m wrong but the Westies would steamroll like 13-0 correct? Would Xavier or West Haven have any trouble in the D2 or D3 tourneys? or is every game 12-0, 10-0, 7-1, and lets say in the final the D2 team gets feisty and only loses 9-1 and the D3 game I’m not even gonna be nice cause the Westies wont 15-1 im gonna guess. NOW!!!! What would a ND-WH or a FF Prep do if they where allowed to run Amok in the D2 and D3 tourneys? Please everyone tell the truth even if the scores turn into a game that looks like the 85 Bears played. I’m all ears-I mean eyes!!!!
