No. 3 FORAN 6, No. 2 MERCY 5 >> Danni Kemp had three hits, including a double, and two RBIs for the host Lions in this SCC interdivision win in Milford.

Ashley Mendillo added two hits for Foran (2-0).

Law 5, Guilford 2 >> Winning pitcher Jenna Bernard allowed just four hits and helped her cause with two hits of her own for the host Eagles in this SCC Hammonasset Division win in Milford.

Megan Smith scored twice for Law (3-1). Lilly Young had a double and scored for the Indians (1-4).

SHEEHAN 2, CHESHIRE 1 >> Missy Periera scattered seven hits, walked one and struck out nine for the visiting Titans in this SCC Housatonic Division victory.

Hunter Selvaggi had a hit and an RBI and Rebecca Souza and Meghan Gavin each had a hit and scored for Sheehan (3-0). Sara Como doubled for the Rams (3-1).

West Haven 7, Shelton 2 >> Sierra Santana had two hits, including a double, with two runs and two stolen bases for West Haven in a SCC interdivision win at Shelton.

Amber Bonewicz had two hits, an RBI and a run for the Westies (1-2). Shelton dropped to 1-2.

HAND 9, BRANFORD 1 >> Hollis Wivell had a two-run double for the host Tigers in this SCC interdivision win in Madison. Mel Rennie tripled for Hand (3-1).

Hamden 9, Sacred Heart Academy 5 >> Dina Alissi went 2-for-3 and Kelly O’Connor added a double to lead the Green Dragons in SCC Quinnipiac Division action.

Lianna Valian added a double for Hamden (2-2). Maigread Scafarella had two doubles for the Pacers (1-1).

No. 10 SEYMOUR 4, WATERTOWN 3 (9) >> Raeanne Geffert drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the host Wildcats to this NVL victory.

Geffert allowed just six hits to earn the win for Seymour (3-1). Sara Selimovski drove in the tying run in the seventh inning for the Indians (2-2).

AMITY 12, LYMAN HALL 2 >> Morgan Perry allowed one hit and struck out nine in her first varsity start for the host Spartans in this SCC Housatonic Division win at Woodbridge.

Jill DeMaio went 3-for-4, including a double, and three runs, Jenna DiLorenzo had two doubles and two RBIs, Teresa Marchitto had three hits and four RBIs and Haley Kober had had two doubles and four RBIs for Amity (3-0).
