Northwestern 7, Litchfield 1 >> Led by a big day from sophomore Bryce Ramsay (two doubles and four RBI) the Highlanders won their seventh game of the season. Devin Warren went the distance to get the win for Northwestern. Northwestern is 7-3 and Litchfield is 2-7.
Wamogo 9, Nonnewaug 3 >> Wamogo defeated Nonnewaug to earn its fourth win of the season. Tristan Pepin picked up his fourth win of the season, striking out one. Rob Whipple recorded two hits including a home run, double and three RBI’s. Jeff Aeschliman had two singles and two RBI’s. Nonnewaug’s Owen Kane picked up the loss but recorded two hits from the plate including a double and two RBI’s. Wamogo is 4-6, Nonnewaug is 2-9.

Thomaston 14, Gilbert 9 >> Despite a late rally by Gilbert, Thomaston held on for the victory. The Golden Bears’ Justin Taylor picked up the victory, striking out five. Dan LaVassuer went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI’s. Gilbert’s Cam Goulet went 3-for-4 with a single, double, triple and two RBI’s.
Terryville 3, Housatonic 2 >> Terryville earned its seventh victory of the season, edging Housatonic on the road. The Kangaroos’ Doug Thorne picked up the victory, striking out seven. Taylor Donofrio recorded the save. Connor Levins went 2-for-4 with two RBI’s. Housatonic’s Willy Yahn hit a home run for the Mountaineers. Terryville is 7-4, Housatonic is 6-4.

Northwestern 20, Litchfield 1 >> Behind a big first inning, Northwestern put away Litchfield early. The Highlanders scored 11 runs in the first inning to take a commanding lead. Alyssa Castellani recorded the victory, striking out seven and allowing just two hits. Monica Swartley had four hits and drove in five runs. Michaela Cisowski drove in three runs.
Housatonic 19, Terryville 3 >> Housatonic cruised to victory against Terryville. The Mountaineers’ Savannah Martin picked up the victory, striking out eight. Chloe Dakers drove in two runs. Terryville’s Marion Bongiovanni drove in two runs.

Nonnewaug 12, Wamogo 1 >> Led four home runs (Marissa Valente two, Kay Harmann and Lindsay Hilpershauser) the Nonnewaug Chiefs rolled past the Wamogo Warriors. Victoria Heavens pitched a complete game to get the win for the Chiefs.
Northwestern 4, Wamogo 1 >> Northwestern earned its sixth victory of the season, defeating Wamogo at home. The Highlanders’ Alec Royer defeated Justin Matthews 6-0, 6-0. Wamogo’s Zach Shemms defeated Jakrin Landphouthacoul 7-5, 6-3. Northwestern’s doubles team of Winter Thorne-Kaunelis and Jordan Scherling defeated Matt Sunderland and Kevin Fenn 6-1, 6-2.
