Good luck to two of my favorite teams I’ve seen this year looking to pull upsets tonight: Simsbury and EO

  2. CCC Fan says

    Great night for the CCC!

Four teams from the CCC reach the quarterfinals tonight! With probably three or four more tomorrow! And Simsbury (a .500 team in their division) gave the powerhouse of the FCIAC a hell of a game on the road tonight! Congrats guys.

    On to the winners!
    E. Catholic beat Bullard Havens by 30+…not your best pick Henry. S. Windsor handled Greenwich pretty easily. E.O went into NFA and won. First time anybody has done that this year. (Watch out, Lauralton!) Tolland beat the clear #2 team in the SWC, Kolbe.

Good luck to Farmington, Weaver, BE, NWC, and RHAM tomorrow. I think RHAM/Avon will be the game of the night easily.

I saw the Lauralton/EO Smith game tonight. Nice game. Lauralton is very scrappy and well coached. Fabbri handled the ball exclusively. I thought they would utilize Salandra for that purpose and have Fabbri at the 2. Salandra can handle the ball and makes good decisions. Is this how they played it all year?
Dale is good. She’s a smooth shooter and played well on the defensive end. Are her coaches projecting her as a 3 at the next level?

I don’t see why dale wouldn’t be a 2 or 3 at the next level. Natural wing player, IMO. Handles the ball well enough now as a freshman to play there. Should be a plus ball handler by her Junior year.
