7 of the top ten lost their last game…this list is worse that the football polls. Has anyone watched these teams this year? Bunnell should be in the top ten with 2 stud arms on the mound.

    • ? says

Um, unless they won the state title doesn’t eery other team lose their last game of the year if they made the playoffs?

To Joke, the voters, myself included, went off who we think should be good this year, not how they ended last year. Also, baseball is the toughest sport to vote on honestly because I think you’ve really got to watch a lot of it to really get a good feel for how good a team is. And us print reporters don’t have the luxury of seeing games everyday. So, yeah, they’re may be some teams in here that won’t live up to the ranking, but I agree with the voters.

I am a relative to a boy who playes at Bunnell. Went to the games this past weekend and they got spanked! Relaity just disppears like the snow at this time of year…..sad

Keep an eye on senior-loaded ANSONIA team——good hitting and quality pitcher that I saw vs.FORAN,could surprise a lot of people

  4. Ken says

Don’t get how oxford can be bounced out after winning a state championship and returning their ace. A lot of talent on that team.

  5. Joke says

OK so a week in and lets see how I am doing…

    New Canaan- 3-1
    St J – 0-3
    Amity – 1-3
    Waterford – 3-0
    Greenwich – 3-1
    X – 2-1
    South – 2-1
    Crom -4-0
    NW-C – 3-0
    Prep- 4-0

All look pretty good except St Joes and Amity…From what I hear Amity will be fine but St Joes could be in for a long year. Nice job overall
