The SCC released its two-year schedule for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. A final draft was approved by the conference’s athletic directors in November and remaining open dates were filled just recently, allowing league commissioner Al Carbone to release it publicly today.
This is a two-year schedule. The sites will reverse in 2018.
The SCC will remain in a three-tier setup. Hand has dropped from Tier 1 to Tier 2. Newcomers Harding and Bassick have been slotted into the second and third Tiers, respectively.
The crossover games with the SWC and ECC have been set for 2017. But the 2018 crossover games with those leagues are not set.
Carbone said the three leagues will be meeting within the “next few weeks” to hammer out the final matchups. Hopefully, Carbone added, more ECC teams will get involved. Currently the five ECC Division I schools (NFA, New London, Ledyard, Fitch and East Lyme) are the only ones playing crossover games with the SCC and SWC.
