Comments

  1. Really, Nick Saban? says

Looking forward to Bethel-Valley in Rd 2 – will be the most competitive game of the seven. Valley ekes it out, but Joe’s wins the championship game 21-7.

    • Really, Nick Saban? says

It strikes me that this one is probably seeded pretty well based on actual team skill levels. I mean, obviously flip 1/2… but after that, 3-4-5 are all good, flip 6-7, and you’ve got it right I guess?

  2. Rob (On Connecticut's East Coast) says

    East Coast Rob’s Picks

    Quarter Finals
    VROL over Quinabaugh
    Brookfield over Bethel
    Ledyard over St Joes
    Barlow over Gilbert

    Semi-Finals
    Brookfield over VROL
    Ledyard over Barlow

    Finals
    Ledyard over Brookfield
    2008 Finals Rematch
    WAR COLONEL
If Auburn could do what they did on Saturday . . .

  3. The Dude says

Valley over Quinnebaug- I still have no idea who Quinnebaug is.
Brookfield over Bethel- Brookfield won’t get caught again
St. Joes over Ledyard- I’m surprised that some people think that this will be close.
Barlow over Gilbert- Gilbert is better than people think. But Shaban carries through

Brookfield over Valley- Flip a coin
St. Joes over Barlow- Barlow might keep it close for a while. But too much Cadet firepower.

St. Joes over Brookfield- Last year it was St. Joes that was a year away. This year it is Brookfield

  4. Rob (On Connecticut's East Coast) says

and before this past Saturday, no ne was supposed to be able to beat Alabama either right?

  5. Kyle says

Valley regional beat that New London team 53-14.

It’s St Joes to lose but I’m very interested in that potential matchup.

Not sure if people were hurt for New London that day, but didn’t New London beat Middletown?

    St Joes 34-28

  6. Rob (On Connecticut's East Coast) says

New London Had Wins Over: Plainfield (S-5w), Windham (S-7w), Killingly (M-4w), Griswold (S-5w), Fitch (L-4w), Middletown (L-10w), Waterford (M-4w), East Lyme (L-6w), Norwich Free Academy (LL-8w)
    Losses To: Capital/Classical/Achievement (S-11w), Ledyard (M-9w)

Was that a Pre-Season Scrimmage Against VROL? Or did you mean to reference their Cap Prep Game?
