Stats: Won the All Around title at the SCC championship meet with a score of 36.15. Also won the vault at SCCs. Placed 10th in the All Around at the State Open, which included sixth on the beam (9.300) to qualify for the New England meet. Tied the school’s beam record with a 9.55.
Honors: All-American, Academic All-American, SCC MVP, First team All-State and three-time New Haven Register All-Area selection.
Off the mat: High honors student, pole vaulter on outdoor track team, Southern Regional qualifier on the oboe.
Stats: Coached Hand to its ninth straight SCC championship and fifth straight Class M state championship. Hand’s 18 total state championships ties Simsbury for most gymnastics titles in state history.
Honors: Sixth New Haven Register Area Coach of the Year selection in the past seven years.
Off the mat: Teaches English at Hand. “Hand Print” student newspaper advisor. Will run New York City Marathon in November.
Stats: Placed fifth in the All Around at the SCC meet with a score of 34.75. Finished 15th in the State Open (38.825). Her season-high in the all-around was a 35.15.
Honors: Three-time All-Area selection, CHSCA all-state pick, All-SCC pick.
Off the mat: High honors student, captain of the cross country team and a volunteer at Yale-New Haven Hospital in pediatrics.
Up next: Will attend Sacred Heart (nursing) and participate in club gymnastics.
Stats: Won the beam (9.05) and tied for first in the floor exercise (9.0) at the SWC championships to help her to second place in the all around (35.65). Finished 21st in the State Open while placing ninth in beam (9.125).
Honors: First team All-State and All-SWC, SWC Academic Team, Academic All-American.
Off the mat: High honors student, Volunteers with St. Thomas Church in Oxford, Spooner House and Oxford Parks and Recreation.
Stats: Finished fourth in floor exercise and eighth in beam at the SCC meet. Tied for 20th at the State Open in the floor exercise and 35th on beam. Her top event scores for the season were a 9.2 on beam, 9.0 on floor and 32.5 in All Around.
Honors: First team All-State, All-SCC, Academic All-State, Academic All-American, All-American on floor and beam, two-time Register All-Area selection.
Off the mat: Set both the 6-dive and 11-dive performance records at the school. President of the Uganda Club.
Up next: Will attend Wellesley College and be a member of the diving team.
Stats: Finished third in SCC meet, 11th in all-around at State Open and qualified for the New England championship meet in bars.
Honors: Last season’s Area MVP. Coaches all-state selection. Will represent Team CT at Senior Nationals in May.
Off the mat: Member of the National Honors Society.
Up next: Will attend Xavier, where she will take part in club gymnastics.
Stats: Placed second in the SCC meet with an all-around score of 35.45. Won the floor exercise and finished second in the beam and bars at that meet. Set the school record on the beam and floor with a 9.5.
Honors: First team All-State, All-SCC selection. Three-time All-Area pick.
Off the mat: Member of the National Honor Society and Interact Club.
Up next: Will be on the gymnastics team at Southern Connecticut State.
Stats: Placed ninth in the State Open all around competition for the Haddam-Killingworth/Hale Ray/Coginchaug tri-op gymnastics team. Season-high all-around score was 36.90.
Honors: Two-time All-Area and coaches all-state selection.
Off the mat: Member of the Haddam-Killingworth Yearbook Club, Art Honor Society, Spirit Club, Photography Club and field hockey team. High honors student and Eastern Regional qualifier for level 9 USA gymnastics.
Stats: Placed ninth at the SCC meet in the all around and finished fourth on the beam (8.9). Her season-high on the vault and floor was 8.5. Helped Hand to its ninth straight SCC title and fifth consecutive Class M state championship.
Honors: Academic All-American, All-SCC and team captain.
Off the mat: Captain of volleyball team, Madison Youth and Family Services volunteer and captain for Relay for Life.
Stats: Won the beam (9.15) at the SCC meet where Mercy finished second. At the Class M state meet, scored an 8.650 on the uneven bars and 8.250 on beam.
Honors: Two-time All-Area selection. Second team All-State, NHSGA Academic All American nominee and All-SCC.
Off the mat: Member of the Spanish National Honor Society and National Honor Society. Over 100 hours of volunteer service at church and on mission trips.
Stats: Placed fifth on bars (8.65) and 10th on beam (8.4) at the SCC championship meet. Qualified for the State Open after scoring a 33.8 at the Class M state meet.
Honors: All-SCC, first team All-State and Academic All-American.
Off the mat: Volunteers for the CCD program at St. John Church in Old Saybrook. Participates in the drama program at The Community Music School in Centerbrook.
Stats: Placed seventh at the SCC championship meet in the all-around (34.1) including fifth in vault, seventh in bars, ninth in floor and 10th on beam. Finished 19th on the uneven bars in the State Open. A 9.55 on vault this season was a personal best.
Honors: Two-time All-Area selection, coaches all-state and All-SCC selection.
Off the mat: Member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. High honors student.
Stats: Won the uneven bars at the SCC meet (9.0), finished third in vault and seventh on the floor and placed sixth in the all-around. At the State Open she placed 16th on the floor and 17th on the bars and finished 19th in the all around. Season-high score in the all-around was 34.9.
Honors: First team All-State, All-SCC, Senior Nationals Team member, 2016 USAG Regional level eight qualifier.
Off the mat: Volunteers at the Clinton Soup Kitchen and Shoreline Food Pantry. Coaches gymnastics classes.
